Check your jobs board for any new tutoring made available. You’ll find this tab in your tutor dashboard. You can directly message the students/parents offering your services. It’s important to give them lots of information about your experience and tutoring skills. This will help them make their decision.
When you have registered and your profile is live, parents and students will be able to directly message you to enquire about your services. All bookings are made through our internal messaging system. You will be notified by email when you receive a new message so you will never miss an opportunity.
When you agree the time and details of your lesson you will create a booking and send it to you student through our messaging system. They will confirm and pay. Your lesson will start at that time and date automatically on the TutorGenie online virtual classroom. Its advisable to log on 5 minutes before the confirmed time so that you can be prepared.
TutorGenie allows you to create your own classes to showcase on your profile. Classes can be one to one or group sessions. They are particularly effective when preparing for exams. Parents and students can sign up for classes directly from your profile.
TutorGenie allows you to meet with your prospective student before the lesson. We allow a 15-minute video call so that you can discuss your teaching style and any other information needed before the lesson takes place.
