With over six years of teaching experience across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, I am a passionate and dedicated primary teacher currently teaching in Abu Dhabi, with previous experience in the UK. I have worked with a wide range of learners and am committed to supporting both academic progress and building confidence. I specialise in making learning engaging, interactive, and enjoyable, particularly in Maths and English. Maths is one of my favourite subjects to teach, and I love helping children develop confidence in areas such as place value, fractions, fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving through creative and practical approaches. I am also an avid reader and have always loved the way books can spark imagination, curiosity, and creativity. Reading has been such an important part of my own life, and I am passionate about helping children discover books that excite and inspire them. I strive to develop not only strong reading skills, but also a genuine love of reading that children can carry with them beyond the classroom. My teaching style focuses on creating a calm, supportive, and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and growing in confidence. I strongly believe that positive relationships are key to successful learning, and I tailor sessions to each child’s individual needs and learning style.
