I'm a kind, passionate teacher who thrives on engaging students in their learning. I have worked as a Primary Teacher for 7 years, working across a range of settings and within several year groups (Year 1 - Year 6). Prior to my teaching career, I worked as a Maths and English tutor in a reputable tutoring centre. This experience provided me with a strong understanding of how to tailor learning to children’s individual needs. With my experience I have been successful in helping children prepare for end of year exams, poetry competitions and national maths days. My passion lies in creating a positive and engaging learning atmosphere, where children are motivated to actively participate in their own learning journey. I firmly believe that the key to success is making learning enjoyable and relevant to children's lives. My approach is to ensure activities are interactive, engaging and creative, where possible. I aim to foster a love for learning that sticks with children. In addition to my professional experience, my personal hobbies also contribute to my effectiveness as a teacher. As an avid reader, I share my enthusiasm for books and encourage a love for reading with the children I work with. I strongly believe that reading opens doors to imagination, creativity, and academic success. I also am dedicated to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and participate in fitness activities. This not only allows me to model a balanced approach to life but also helps me to promote physical well-being amongst my students.
