Hello everyone. I have been a primary school teacher for 13 years, 4 years in Birmingham, UK and 9 years in the UAE. I have taught at an outstanding Aldar school in Abu Dhabi teaching year 1 and year 4. I was also head of year in each year group. I am currently teaching in year 4 at a school in Dubai. I always provide a happy, safe learning environment giving all children the opportunities to make amazing progress through pupil choice and teaching children what they need to know now. I ensure learning is relevant and purposeful linking all areas of the curriculum and, most importantly, ensure learning is fun and engaging. I have a great passion for teaching and am highly qualified teaching from year 1 to year 6 including SEND and EAL children. I believe supporting every child to make as much progress as possible is key in the classroom environment. In my classroom, children are well cared for and taught to show respect, honesty and kindness to others. I believe I teach children to become resilient, lifelong learners. I am flexible to adapt my skills and way of teaching to suit the needs of individual children. I build good relationships with all children and parents to ensure children are happy whilst showing amazing learning.
