I am a UK trained and qualified teacher and I have been fortunate to combine two passions: education and travel. Having taught for over 15 years, I have been blessed with meeting many young individuals aspiring for success and have supported them along the way. I have taught in South America, the Caribbean and the UAE has now been my home for 8 years. I understand the various demands placed on students and do my best to support and ensure they can access the required work. I have experience in the British and American curriculum and ample knowledge of the IB programme. I am predominantly an English teacher, but I do love my Media/Film studies. I have experience of teaching the IB Diploma, MYP and created several PYP units of study. I have also taught TOK and mentored over 8 students through either an English or Film Extended Essay for IB. Some of my strengths include: differentiation, creativity and pastoral care.
