I am a fully qualified Primary School Teacher with over 5 years experience in Ireland, England and the UAE. I have taught in a variety of settings, including private, public, SEN and online across KS1 and KS2. I Initially I studied and work as an Adult Nurse in Ireland, and still carry with me much that I learnt in that career - I am a patient, empathetic and flexible person. As a teacher I understand the powerful influence I can have on a child and strive to provide the safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment that I had, for my pupils. My lessons will not only contain curriculum material, but also provide children with opportunities to think critically, debate and encourage them to become self directed and independent learners.
