I am Nick Mziwendoda Dzanibe, better known as Teacher Nick. I hold a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education and have taught Mathematics across several grade levels. Prior to 2021, I taught Grade 10 and Grade 12 Mathematics in South Africa. In the UAE, I have taught Grade 6, Grade 7, and Grade 9, and I currently serve as the Grade 7 Math Lead. This wide-ranging experience has given me a deep understanding of how to support learners at different stages, from building strong foundations to excelling in advanced topics. My teaching approach is interactive and student-centered. I aim to make Mathematics both clear and enjoyable by connecting concepts to real-world applications. I also make use of engaging tools like GeoGebra, Kahoot, Quizziz, and Blooket to encourage participation and strengthen problem-solving skills. When tutoring, I adapt to parent requests. I can: Communicate with school teachers to stay aligned. Keep students up to date with schoolwork. Provide support with projects and homework. There is also the option to focus on tuition only. No matter the choice, I bring structure, enthusiasm, and commitment to helping students succeed while developing a positive mindset towards Mathematics.
