I am a Primary School Teacher from the UK, I have over 17 years of teaching experience and have taught from FS1 up to and including Year 6. Apart from English I can also speak Urdu, Punjabi and can communicate using basic British Sign Language. I am currently the Head of Year at a school in Abu Dhabi and am extremely familiar with teaching the British Curriculum and American curriculum. I have previously been in role as the Head of Mathematics and have led booster sessions in Mathematics for children in Years 5 and 6. As a mother myself and an experienced teacher, I understand that all children have different learning styles and can assure you that I will teach your child in a way that is suited to him / her. I am able to adapt my teaching to ensure that there is an element of 'practical' and 'fun'. I have a wealth of knowledge in teaching early reading, early writing, Phonics and Mathematics amongst all the other subjects. I also have lots of experience with teaching children who are visually impaired, deaf and hard of hearing, dyslexic, elective and selective mutism and those who have additional needs and barriers to learning.
