Hi there! My name is Sarah and I am from Ireland. This is my fifth year teaching in the UAE. I love it here! I have experience teaching KG, Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 3 in the core subjects of English, Math and Science. I am passionate about teaching reading and phonics to young children especially. I believe that confidence in reading is key for success across all curricular areas and helps children become enthusiastic students. I have created many resources to help students who struggle with reading. The most rewarding part of my job is sharing the joy that students feel when they achieve their learning goals. I really believe that every student has the potential to achieve so much as long as they have a "can do" attitude and never give up!
