We’re here to help parents and students make an informed choice, as opposed to making that choice for them. We have lots of learners for whom a background check isn’t important. It is not, therefore, a requirement for tutors who use our site to provide a background check. We do offer to reimburse each tutor up to €30 for a recent identity check, if they avail of this, you will see that their profiles have the trusted gold badge.
If you feel unsure, we suggest that you ask the tutor or activity provider for proof of their qualifications, references or any form of identification which will help you decide if they are right for you.
