At TutorGenie where payment is processed on behalf of our users, there are some things we have to do in order to comply with money laundering regulations. One of them is that we must collect additional information before we can release any payments to our tutors' accounts. This includes dates of birth, and ID documents (i.e. Emirates ID, passport, and driving license).

We use Stripe, one of the world’s biggest payment portals and they require your identification so that we can pay you! Unfortunately, we would not be able to pay you for any lessons you teach without this. 

Please note Stripe requires scans of both front and back of ID documents. IDs should be in date and in color and have all information clearly legible. Files need to be JPEGs or PNGs and be smaller than 5MB in size. Stripe is unable to verify PDFs.
